i was playing around with css and i thought i wanted to see a kubrick (wordpress 2.0 default theme) with the sidebar on the left. the theme i’m using is already based on (right sidebar) kubrick and i’m generally comfortable with it. but sometimes things itches so i made a “play blog” where i can play with theme rennovations.

“switch” is what i call this one. its still mostly kubrick but i’ve made some changes to the css and some files:

1. i switched the sidebar to the left
2. used a line instead of a grey background to visually separate the sidebar from the content
3. i increased the font size of the content
4. i switched fonts to the basic arial and georgia/times new roman
5. included the sidebar in the single.php file
6. and, its widgetized

i’ll probably save this iteration and then do more modifying.
