an old e-mail address
busy. its been web work for the past couple of weeks. i now have two more e-mail addresses and, thankfully, they’re spam-free. at least for now.
i realized that i have an old e-mail address that i still use. by “old” i mean that one of my e-mail addies has been around since 1999. i can tell because i get an average of around 135 spam mails per day on that addy alone. do the numbers and you’ll get an idea how much i get in a year. i guess that address has made it into spammers lists.
but despite that, i don’t really have plans of retiring that address and i don’t think i should. it is a well known address to my friends, family, colleagues and business contacts. they associate my face to that address already.
i just pity the person who sends all this mail out or at least, doing the programming. i wonder how it feels to do something totally worthless to most people or to the world.
i’m still keeping the address. besides i got something guarding it from spam.
