a client has a mailing list of around 1200+ addresses that they want regular announcements sent out to. their web site is being currently being hosted by yahoo! webhosting.

opera 9 and acid2

i previously threw acid2 on firefox 1.5.0.2, internet explorer 6.029 and opera 8.54 and results — although not perfect — say that opera is best at supporting web standards, next is firefox and then internet explorer.
well, there’s a spanking new browser from opera (version 9) and i just had to throw the acid2 test at [...]

pop spam filtering for yahoo bizmail

if you are using yahoo! business mail and accessing it using a pop client instead of a browser, here’s a tidbit i found buried in the yahoo! groups help section.
apparently, yahoo has spamguard enabled in business mail accounts with pop-only access. yahoo! adds an additional header information to mails that spamguard thinks are spam. the [...]
