checking internet explorer version
to access tridion you have to use internet explorer 6.x (ie) with all the applicable updates and service packs.
the version of explorer that we were using during the training is 6.0.2900.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519. to check your version, launch internet explorer and click on help - about internet explorer:
and you should be able to see the following:
if your version is different from the one shown above, you have to update your version of explorer to the latest one (and maybe your windows system as well).
