oss saves money
the malaysian government has saved up to 30 percent on information and communications technology costs among its agencies under the open source software (oss) initiative.
i wish the philippine government would be more clear cut with regards to oss. there are some voices out there and some may have adopted it but the initiative needs more pushing. the immediate benefit is saving the people’s money.
