ie7 released
well, after a long while microsoft finally released internet explorer 7. it’s a short download and install but it does ask you to validate windows before installing anything. after a couple of reboots, ie7 is installed in the computer.
so off i go to the acid2 test and here’s what i get.
i did a comparison before so you can go look here for reference.
oh well, i suppose you can’t get everything.
what i do like so far is the rendering of the fonts. i’m sure the default cleartype settings (on) has something to do with it. i also like the quicktabs where you see thumbnails of all the tabs that you have open.
i’m going to give ie7 a shot and do some side by side testing with my other browsers and see what happens.
currently, its still my number 3 browser.
