4gb sweet spot for vista

i got a link from slashdot that vista and its users would be really happy with 4 gig of memory installed in the system. forget about putting in the minimum of 512 meg — that’ll just make vista slower than xp.

as of this writing, two 2gb ddr2 800 geil sticks goes for 17,500.00 pesos over at rising sun.

and a handful of motherboards in service can only accommodate 2 gigabytes of memory max.

it seems a lot of trouble and cost to run vista.
