yeah. a lot of people are having problems with yahoo being too unfriendly to wp upgrades and plugins. i would move if i know it would bring more benefits than headaches but currently, its the other way around.

and there's the little known fact that most of my clients are in yahoo small biz.

anyway, i'm studying the process on upgrading to 2.3 from 2.2.2 and its essentially the same from my previous steps. the only problem i can foresee would be the proper uploading of files. it seems that there's some caching being done by yahoo so things get a little mucky.

Upgrades are like women - can't live with 'em and can't live without 'em. (Yes, yes, I know, "How original...")

Anyway, not having much of a blog, and having it on Yahoo! to boot, I grew tired of the problems I was having and so I went to Bluehost and have spent the last day or so trying to get things up. I decided to bite the bullet and let one of the BH applications install WP 2.2.2 so I could manually upgrade it to 2.3. Apparently the theme I was using is compatible with v2.3, but what do I know...

I'll import my db backup to the new blog site and then oh joy what fun I'll have working through a whole new set of problems!
