firefox on ubuntu leaks a lot of memory — maybe more than when i was running it in windows.

so my regimen now would be after visiting a few websites i close-open firefox. tedious i know. and opera is available in ubuntu. i have that installed also but i don’t use it enough for everyday work [...]

pldt slow part 2

i got a report that a pldt contractor dropped by the site again to check the connection. he suggested that the reason the connection to the internet is slow is because there are too many people sharing the connection.
i’ve heard this load of crap before and apparently so did the client’s representative that was coordinating [...]

gmail @ 5 gig

is it just me or has anyone noticed that gmail’s space counter jumped to 5 gig? compared to yahoo’s “unlimited” space, 5 gig is “small”. but heck, 5 gig is still plenty.
