pldt slow

pldt has been slow again for the past three weeks.

the graphs are all in kilobytes per second and not kilobits per second.

apparently a lot of people have been having problems with their pldt dsl connections as well. i was informed that one of the slots containing 16 ports went south and they had to replace it. a week after replacement, the dsl connection is still agonizingly slow — its worse than dial-up (52kbps normally).

so we’re now looking at globe and bayantel as a replacement.
