but why a blog?
- i wanted to see what this blogging thing was all about. i tried blogger’s service for alanguilan.com but after a couple months something started to itch and i wanted to have a couple more bells and a little whistling. i still have the old blog here.
- i wanted to refresh and sharpen my php and mysql knowledge and i thought setting up a wordpress blog would be one great way of going about it.
- i wanted to a section of the web site where i can put the support pages. a blog may or may not be an ideal solution but i can probably bend it for my purpose later on.
- site maintenance (at least for this section) would be easier since most of the “background” technical details are handled by wordpress.
- i also wanted this to be my tech blog of sorts.
