the idea of an offsite backup came up when two of a client’s servers almost got soaked when part of the office roof gave way during a strong storm.
i already setup a system where a backup of the databases and all important files from the desktops and laptops is done daily to a central file [...]

ach. its been a whole while. i have been kept busy.
we moved. from one house to another. not an easy thing to do. no internet for a couple of weeks. then there’s school opening.
clark connect, smoothwall and rsync have all been keeping me quite occupied as well. offsite backup is all i can tell [...]

this website made me smile.
in short, they’re saying to microsoft’s boss to show everyone what code in linux violates microsoft’s patents.
if not, then shut up.
comes a time to show people if a person is just full of hot air or not.

i just read that microsoft is extending support for windows xp up to 2014. i cannot say i’m really surprised with that news. i think ms realizes that with the steep and somewhat costly hardware requirements that the aero bling-bling brings is another hurdle to adoption of vista.
