when the battery pack is fully charged you can either:

  • take out the power supply from the laptop and work on battery power or;
  • take out the battery pack from the laptop and work from the power supply

if you’re just going to stay in the office or home, take out the batter pack and use the power supply.

completely drain the battery at least once each month. this would help “exercise” the battery pack.

  • don’t click on that link from an e-mail unless you’re expecting that e-mail
  • be wary of e-mails even if it appears to be from someone you know
  • be wary of e-mails with small file attachments

i had to read this text message three times, slowly, before i “got” its meaning. in short, its a call for help.

this is a sample of txt spk or “text speak” — one of the results of constantly using a cellphone.

honest and blunt foot forward, i dislike it. it takes too much time and effort to decipher a message when that time can be used best to find a solution. i usually text back to say that i had a hard time deciphering the message and i usually include a solution to the problem.

if the person sends another message in text speak again i do not send a text message back but opt to send one via e-mail or internet messaging.

people spend years and years learning how to spell, speak and use a language to communicate and interact with and understand other people. use it and use it properly.

you see, i move around a bit. in a normal boring day, i’d be in front of my workstation doing some stuff or another. but on certain occasions, i go out for this reason or that. so if you want to reach me the best way really is by chat, cell or e-mail. in that order.

if i’m at my workstation, i’d usually reply to a chat message almost immediately. if i don’t then its time to use the cell. an sms (text) would suffice. i may not be able to answer your call especially when i’m driving. e-mail is another great way to reach me because i look at my e-mail almost everywhere i go so its bound to reach me one way/time or another.
