wordpress 2.3 is coming out in a few days (24 sept) and i just upgraded to wp 2.2.2 from 2.02 a couple of weeks ago. sigh. it never ends, does it?

its was a bit hairy for a while but things are turning out on the ok side. so far. what i’m messing around with are the plugins — which ones work and which ones doesn’t.

the upgrade to 2.2.2 of the two other blogs seems to be working fine. i even changed the theme of my test site to this one just to see if it would work and things seem to go fine.
i just have to get updates to the plugins i use. then i’ll do the upgrade.

the blog manager of the small biz control panel will still show that version 2.0.2 of wordpress is installed. it may be better to change the upgrade method to manual so that yahoo! will not be able to mess with the new install.
for those with lots of plugins, it would be better to delete those [...]
this post applies to people who are using yahoo!’s small business webhosting package and has wordpress installed as the blogging software and who cannot wait for yahoo! to do the upgrade.
