wordpress 2.3 is coming out in a few days (24 sept) and i just upgraded to wp 2.2.2 from 2.02 a couple of weeks ago. sigh. it never ends, does it?

its was a bit hairy for a while but things are turning out on the ok side. so far. what i’m messing around with are the plugins — which ones work and which ones doesn’t.

i was playing around with css and i thought i wanted to see a kubrick (wordpress 2.0 default theme) with the sidebar on the left. the theme i’m using is already based on (right sidebar) kubrick and i’m generally comfortable with it. but sometimes things itches so i made a “play blog” where i can [...]
the header and footer still looked a lot like kubrick so i decided to change it a bit just to make myself more comfortable with the web log.

i’ve been spending some free time widgetizing this blog. the wordpress widget is a new plug-in that is suppose to make it easy to configure and manage the sidebar. for the most part it does make things easier and simpler. rearranging the sidebar becomes a click, drag and drop affair.
